Following the success of our first Drummoyne project, Bianca, we’re returning to the peninsula with plans for another landmark waterfront address at 15A–21 St Georges Crescent.

We’ve lodged a Development Application for the $150 million residential project, which proposes a 10-storey building comprising 45 residences, including eight affordable housing apartments.

Set on a rare north-facing 1,701sqm site overlooking Sydney Harbour, the proposal has been designed to capture the site’s extraordinary outlook while delivering a considered addition to Drummoyne’s evolving village landscape.

Designed by MHN Design Union, the proposal is shaped by its unique harbourside setting. Defined by clean horizontal forms, soft curves and expansive glazing, the building has been designed to maximise natural light, harbour views and the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

The plans include a mix of one, two and three-bedroom residences, alongside resident amenities including a gym, landscaped communal spaces and three levels of basement parking. The proposal also includes eight affordable housing apartments, to be managed by a registered community housing provider for a minimum of 15 years, contributing to greater housing diversity within this highly connected location.

Drummoyne is entering an exciting period of evolution, with population growth, infrastructure investment and planning reforms creating new opportunities for thoughtfully designed housing. Yet, with its peninsula setting, established village character and limited land supply, opportunities to deliver new homes remain scarce. St Georges Crescent presents a rare opportunity to create a considered residential address that responds to the community’s changing needs while respecting the qualities that make Drummoyne such a sought-after place to live.

Following the lodgement of the DA with the City of Canada Bay Council, we look forward to progressing the project through the planning process and sharing more details as it evolves.
