Setting a new benchmark for the area, the 210 square metre three-bedroom (plus multi-purpose room) north facing luxury sub-penthouse apartment is one of 12 house-like proportioned luxury apartments under construction at the rare waterfront site overlooking Drummoyne Bay with views to Sydney CBD and Harbour.

The buyer, a local downsizer wanting to stay within the area, was attracted to Bianca because of its generous floorplans, quality SJB design and the convenience offered with one level of living.

This comes off the back of a recent record sale of $9.55m in neighbouring Hunters Hill, also to a local downsizer, in June for a four-bedroom waterfront apartment, proving an appetite for luxury waterfront apartments with house like proportions amongst Hunters Hills and Drummoyne empty nesters looking to downsize from their larger houses.

“Developer Central Element's Bianca Drummoyne 12-apartment project in Sydney has just sold an off-the-plan sub-penthouse for $9.45m, setting a record for sales in the popular inner suburb given it was negotiated at a hefty $45,000 per square metre. The sale to a downsizer hailing from nearby Hunters Hill was negotiated by McGrath agents Tracey Dixon and Robert Alfeldi. The north-facing 210sq m sub penthouse has three bedrooms and a multipurpose room. The Wolseley Street project, which is under construction, is expected to complete by the third quarter of next year. Six of the 12 three-bedroom apartments, designed by SJB, have sold.”
