Ballamac House Coogee topping out
The Urban Developer has covered a major milestone recently celebrated at Ballamac House, our landmark project in Coogee, which has officially topped out just six months after construction commenced.

Located at 39 Arcadia Street in Coogee, Ballamac House is a $130 million development that thoughtfully blends heritage restoration with contemporary luxury living. Originally constructed in the 1860s, the Victorian-era sandstone residence has served various roles over the years, including as a private home, hotel, and infirmary.
The project has been making headlines since its record-breaking $20 million off-market penthouse sale in April 2024 – the highest price ever paid for a Coogee residence.
The development comprises eight three-bedroom homes — two within the restored 1860s Ballamac estate and six in a new four-storey building designed by Tonkin Zulaikha Greer. Interiors are designed by Mim Design, and landscaping by Jane Irwin Landscape Architecture. Completion of Ballamac House is expected by December this year.
