We wanted to create a space that transformed the typical office into a tailored shared working environment for the ever-growing team at Central Element. Our aim was to design an innovative use of space and form with high functionality, we hoped to achieve a discreet luxury for both staff and clients.
The main goal for the design and renovation was to create a functional, adaptable space for the growing team whilst also displaying the company’s approach to beautiful design details.
Upon completion I was so proud and felt the space ticked all the boxes we were hoping for. We’ve been able to create larger open plan areas for staff to collaborate as well as purpose-built meeting options for staff and clients throughout the office.
It was a very collaborative process between client, designer and builder – to me this is the pinnacle of successful design because we were able to work toward a common goal and achieve what all parties wanted out of the project.
I love the reception area, it’s warm and inviting and turns the tables on a typical office reception by making guests feel immediately at home with the freestanding library, gorgeous MCM House sofa and ambient lighting.
Central Element is a powerhouse in their field, and I feel like the new office space aligns with their own design ethos and approach to dealing with not only clients but how they want their team to feel when they come into work.
The amazing transformation of the space – we started with a cold office environment and created what now feels like a beautifully cohesive working space and somewhere staff can be proud to work and welcome clients for meetings.
