A Night to Remember: The Olympia VIP Opening Dinner

Guests were treated to drinks at the Rooftop Bar, taking in panoramic views as the sun set over the Sydney city skyline, before moving downstairs to the Restaurant for an intimate dinner in celebration of the hotel’s opening. The evening was filled with lively conversation, shared excitement, and a genuine appreciation for the incredible collaboration that brought the hotel to life.

Key attendees included Jess Miller, Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, Jake Guilfoyle, General Manager of The Olympia Hotel Sydney; Wayne Chivas and Nathan Chivas, Director and Managing Director of Central Element; Shelley Indyk of IndyK Architects; Tim Greer of Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects; and Tracey Wiles of Woods Bagot. Together, they celebrated not only the opening of a hotel but the culmination of vision, creativity, and meticulous design.

The evening was a fitting tribute to The Olympia’s unique character, honouring the site’s rich history as a theatre and music venue, while introducing a bold, contemporary hospitality destination to Oxford Street.
