This is well above other sought-after markets such as Miami (93%), Lake Como (83%) and the Bahamas (72%), as well as the global average premium of 49%.

Other Australian cities have seen significant growth, with Brisbane’s waterfront premium rising from 45% in 2019 to 56% in 2024 – comparable to Portugal’s Algarve region – and Melbourne increasing from 27% to 41%, matching Paris’s Seine waterfront market.
