"Meanwhile, across the harbour, private developer Central Element has lodged plans with North Sydney Council for its second development in Sydney's harbourside Neutral Bay following its purchase of a site fronting 54-64 Barry Street."

MANSION, The Weekend Australian

Located at 54–64 Barry Street, the 1,660 square metre site will be transformed into an elegant eight-storey building comprising 45 thoughtfully designed residences, three levels of basement parking and a private communal rooftop terrace, complete with a swimming pool, barbecue and outdoor dining facilities and panoramic views.

Five ground-level apartments will feature private landscaped gardens, while the upper floors are designed to maximise views over Sydney Harbour and the surrounding district.

Designed in collaboration with MHNDU, the building’s façade has been carefully considered to positively contribute to the established local streetscape, reflecting CE’s commitment to delivering high-quality, community-conscious residential projects in tightly held locations.

The submission follows the successful completion of our nearby 37-unit Pienza development, which has entered its final release, with six apartments left on the market.

The Barry Street project is expected to be launched into the market in the first quarter of 2027, with apartment prices yet to be determined.
