As we near the completion of our Ethos Chatswood development, the new Sydney Metro City line means that its future residents will enjoy the benefits of even more connectivity right on their doorstep.
Stretching for 15.5 kilometres, the Sydney Metro City line runs from Chatswood to Sydenham, zipping through the city and beneath the harbour, with five new stations at Crows Nest, Victoria Cross, Barangaroo, Gadigal and Waterloo, as well as new enterances and platforms at Martin Place and Central.
The brand-new metro line will see trains at least every four minutes in morning and evening peak periods, with a capacity of every two minutes if pushed. Services will run every five minutes in the middle of the day and every 10 minutes at night and on weekends.
Already a transport hub of the North Shore, the suburb will now enjoy quicker and easier travel by public transport to the city. The Sydney Metro City line allows commuters to get from Chatswood to Sydenham in the city’s Inner West in just 22 minutes.
With just a 5-minute walk from Ethos Chatswood to the Metro station and a 12-minute journey from Chatswood to Martin Place, our future residents will be able to get from their front door the middle of the city in under 20 minutes.
We tested this out with Helena Hu, the CBRE agent on Ethos Chatswood. Watch along below and see just how fast she gets from this luxury apartment offering to the world class dining, shopping and more of our beautiful harbour city.
