A Night to Remember: 25Hours Hotel The Olympia VIP Opening Dinner
Last week, Paddington came alive for the grand opening of 25Hours Hotel The Olympia. To celebrate this momentous occasion, CE hosted a special VIP evening for the key collaborators and partners involved in bringing this venue to life.

Guests were treated to drinks at Monica Rooftop, taking in panoramic views as the sun set over the Sydney city skyline, before moving downstairs to The Palomar for an intimate dinner in celebration of the hotel’s opening. The evening was filled with lively conversation, shared excitement, and a genuine appreciation for the incredible collaboration that brought the hotel to life.
Key attendees included Jess Miller, Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, Jake Guilfoyle, General Manager of 25Hours The Olympia; Wayne Chivas and Nathan Chivas, Director and Managing Director of Central Element; Shelley Indyk of IndyK Architects; Tim Greer of Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects; and Tracey Wiles of Woods Bagot. Together, they celebrated not only the opening of a hotel but the culmination of vision, creativity, and meticulous design.
The evening was a fitting tribute to 25Hours Hotel The Olympia’s unique character, honouring the site’s rich history as a theatre and music venue, while introducing a bold, contemporary hospitality destination to Oxford Street. It was a night that showcased the hotel as more than a place to stay — it’s a destination, a gathering point, and a celebration of design and culture.
