About us

The Australian property dream is evolving every day, as people seek to downsize, right-size or move closer to the things they love. This shift in living requires a shift in thinking – and at Central Element, we’re responding by creating forward-thinking places that combine enviable locations with enduring quality.

As one of the top property developers in Australia, we’re independent both in how we operate, and how we think. It’s this open-minded approach that’s led us to build some great relationships, and deliver even greater developments. Everything we do is driven by a desire to deliver ‘people shaped properties’; exceptionally liveable developments that exceed expectations. This is the vision that unites our business and sees us work together to create and invigorate communities.

Finding the sweet spot

Choosing a great location takes insight, foresight and strategy. With this in mind, we hand-pick our sites for their appeal both now and in the future. As well as amenity and access, we take a close look at the factors that will influence a community down the track, from emerging lifestyle trends to new infrastructure. We want our developments to be desirable not just now, but for decades to come.

Respecting The Past To Build The Future

At Central Element we think a building with a past is worth its weight in gold. We believe we have the responsibility to take the time to step back and admire a building’s story and the role we play is in making these stories come to life.

Heritage listed or a beloved institution that’s part of a community tangible past, we revel in the challenge to incorporate existing features into a modern design, built for the community’s future.

At The Anden in Coogee we are saving the Art Deco Façade to create as little disturbance as possible to the celebrated streetscape. In Paddington, work has commenced to breathe new life into the heritage listed West Olympia Theatre that has been left neglected for over a decade.  The now completed Malton Residences transformed cherished heritage listed buildings into loving homes. Our latest development The Hyde Park Inn, will celebrate the rich history surrounding it, including the adjacent Anzac Memorial.

Deliberate design

Our developments are known for their quality, generous proportions and thoughtful details. Whether it’s by integrating sustainable products and materials, pioneering intuitive technologies, including a community garden, or restoring heritage elements, we make every decision with our customers in mind. More than bricks and mortar, these are places where people can live happily, work productively and connect easily.

Dynamic teamwork

We’re more than just property developers – our Sydney team encompasses all facets of real estate, including finance, market research, town planning, construction, sales and marketing. Leading the way are our three Directors, who have combined their experience, networks, resources and capital to create a formidable executive team.
